About the event

Lee Howe started music at a young age, teaching himself to play and becoming an excellent singer and musician. He's spent the better part of 30 years playing and singing in various groups and shows throughout Canada and the United States playing gospel, bluegrass, and country music.

He's played in some of Atlantic Canada's premier music festivals, including the Fox Mountain Bluegrass Festival, Rogersville Bluegrass Festival, Nashwaak Country Music Festival, and the Cavendish Beach Music Festival, to name a few. He's opened for several Nashville recording artists, some of whom include Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder, Joe Diffie, and Marty Raybon.

He is a member of the New Brunswick Showcase Band, has played with New Brunswick's sweetheart Joan Kennedy, and is a current member of Terry Ferris' band The Running Kind.

Geordie Roberts is a country music singer/songwriter with more than 30 years experience performing at venues across Canada. Geordie also started playing at a young age, starting with the Young Musician's Academy in Edmonton at the age of 5 where he learned the basics of guitar and voice, and had several performances with Jazz legend Big Miller.

Having opened for such acts as the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and Trooper, Geordie has also played major music festivals such as Big Valley Jamboree and Salmon Valley Music Festival, and fairs such as Edmonton Klondike Days and Calgary Stampede. Geordie is also a current member of Terry Ferris' band The Running Kind, and country trio Three Part Country.

Together, Lee and Geordie play both new and classic country with heart and humor. Their experience gives them a vast knowledge of country and bluegrass music, and their performance together will leave you wanting more!
